Since from 1995 WASCO focused entirely on watershed development project . At present WASCO is acting as project implementing agency in two watershed Projects Punak Kallan & Jhak –II in Jaswantpura block in Jalore district, two watershed Projects Gundalpur & Chainpuria in badi Sadri block in Chittourgarh distt and Kajili & Kulmipura W/S in Pratapgarh block in Pratapgarh distt. These projects sanctioned by NABARD Jaipur during 2000-2009.WASCO also acting as Project Implementing Agency in two Integrated Watershed Development Project(IWMP) namely Jalore-15 & Jaisalmer 41 funded by Govt. of Rajasthan .The project period of these two watersheds are 2012 to 2019
Wasco completed 4 wadi project (Integrated Development of Tribal Families through Horticulture , forestry planting & Other allied activities ) under Tribal development fund programme by Nabard Jaipur. In these wadi programmes, wasco established four thousand wadies of poor of the poorest tribal family in 60 villages of Dhariawad,Arnod & Pratapgarh block of Pratapgarh distt & 14 villages of Kumbhalgarh block of Rajsamand distt. In Rajasthan . The period of WADI programme are 7 years i.e. 2009-2016,2010-2017,2012-2019,2013-2020 & 2015-2022. Wasco also covered 400 landless families in these wadi programme . Five thousand wadi tribal families benefited through Women development , health awareness camps & training and capacity building activities.
WASCO is a organisation in which maximum members have qualification in the discipline of agriculture engineering, agriculture (Agronomy, extension) , post graduate in sociology & livestock development. Staff members have vide experience to executive watershed development projects. Some of the staff members have started their carrier from NGO line & still working in same. WASCO have already completted 10 micro watershed project funded by DRDA/ Zila Parishad jalore GOR during the period 1995-2008 costing Rs.256.00 lakh .
